Give Kids a Smile is a wonderful organization that was started by the ADA in 2003 as a way for Dentists to provide services to underserved children. Dr. Ross and staff participated in Give Kids a Smile for the first time ever on February 6th. We opened our office on February 6th in order to provide cleanings, sealants, and fillings to children up to the age of 12. Dr. Ross was the only Dentist in Loveland to participate in this wonderful event.

At the end of January, Dr. Ross and staff traveled to the Convention Center in Denver for a 3 day Dental Convention. Each member of Ross Family Dentistry took a different class and later met up and shared their new findings!
Two of the most memorable classes we took have helped our outlook on life and we would like to share them with you.
One was called the ‘Covered Smile’. This is a story about a young girl who at the age of 13 had to have dentures. It is truly an amazing and inspiring story. We really encourage you to check out the book! http://www.thecoveredsmile.com/
The second class we went to was ‘Do It Well And Make It Fun’. This class was a great eye opener. As people, we tend to think the worst case scenario instead of thinking about the positives in life and living life in the present. The book the presenter recommended to us is called The Power of Now.
Dr. Ross truly believes in learning and keeping updated on the new discoveries in the Dental field. We love all of our patients and believe that is the best way to give them the treatment they deserve.
