There were a lot of fun Halloween Festivities in Loveland this year! Dr. Ross and Ross Family Dentistry staff were able to celebrate all of the fun Halloween festivities by participating in the City of Loveland, Halloween Family Fun Festival and participated in Candy Buy Back with Operation Gratitude!
The Family Fun Festival turn out was AMAZING!! If you were able to come to Ross Family Dentistry’s sponsored booth, you could take a turn at a pumpkin ring toss, or take a guess at several Halloween trivia games. The crowd favorite, however, was an informational game about what certain drinks do to our Dental Health. Teeth were soaked in American’s favorite beverages for a month and when they were removed, it showed how a drink can stain and rot teeth, or help keep them bright white! Makes you think twice about your Dental Health and weather you pour a glass of Coke or milk at your next meal. Dr. Ross, a family oriented Loveland Dentist, knows the importance of understanding how diet relates to preventing dental cavities. If you missed the Family Fun Festival this October 25th, don’t worry, it happens every year in downtown Loveland. There was a costume contest, entertainment, and trick-or-treating, and the weather was perfect for the outdoor Halloween Fesitivities! Dr. Ross was one of two Dentists from Loveland to participate in this community activity. At Ross Family Dentistry we believe that community involvement is key to promote Dental Health.
Dr. Ross partnered with Operation Gratitude to support our troops by participating in the candy buy back program. Dr. Ross was the only Dentist in Loveland, Co that participated in this program with Operation Gratitude. Even though we are a Dental Office, we know EVERYONE enjoys a few pieces of candy from time to time, but moderation is key! The buy-back program allows kids to still get the fun out of trick’or’treating and pick out a few pieces of their favorite candy to enjoy, but not overdue it with eating all the candy they gather! Plus, it allows kids to learn to give-back and share their loot with our hard-working troops overseas. It’s a win-win program Kids brought in their candy from Halloween and we gave up to $10 for it. We then separated and sent the candy to Operation Gratitude. The candy from there will be sent overseas to our troops! We also asked for the kids to draw a picture or write the troops a letter to send with the candy. We had such an amazing turn out with this program! We had an awesome turnout!
These Halloween Festivities kept us busy this season! Dr. Ross and the whole staff at Ross Family Dentistry truly love being part of such a great community that we have in Loveland! We can’t wait to do these Halloween Festivities again next year!!
